For many of us at BeSeen Solutions, it all began there: in front of a screen, with the curiosity and adrenaline of someone discovering a new world made of modems, telephone lines and green-phosphor displays.
The film was WarGames, released in 1983, and its protagonist – a curious young hacker – managed to break into a military supercomputer called WOPR (War Operation Plan Response).
What for Hollywood was a science-fiction plot was, for us, a spark of inspiration.
The WOPR, able to learn and simulate war strategies, already embodied forty years ago a concept we know well today: a powerful, autonomous artificial intelligence that… must be supervised carefully.
Today, artificial intelligences do not plan global thermonuclear wars (thankfully), but every day they decide what we read, buy, recommend or cite.
From Google to ChatGPT, from Gemini to Perplexity, we have entered an age in which AI shapes visibility and the very perception of companies and people.
And this is where our mission is born:
to help brands be understood and recognised by AI, with the same care with which, in the film, someone had to “keep an eye on” the WOPR.
Not out of fear, but out of responsibility and awareness.
To celebrate this cultural legacy, we chose to remember the film that inspired us from the very start.
And on 3 November 2025, the symbolic date of the birth of BeSeen Solutions, we dedicate our very first article to the message that has accompanied us ever since:
“Artificial intelligence is not to be feared, but understood.
It must be observed, trained and guided.
Because only in this way can it reveal the best of human intelligence.”
What in the film was a simulation is, today, our everyday reality.
And like David Lightman in front of his IMSAI 8080, we keep looking at the screen with the same curiosity as back then — but with new tools and new responsibilities.
Welcome to BeSeen Solutions, where visibility meets intelligence.
